I have the GSim reader but it came with no instructions. The CD was broken and got the software download from the online websites. But what do I do next?

After the software has been downloaded and installed on your PC, connect the physical SIM reader to PC using its USB interface. If the drivers were installed correctly, Windows will do the rest. Secondly, remove the SIM card from your device and insert it into the SIM reader. Start the application from the desktop or its installation path and access the SIM card. It's practically the same operation when you connect an SD card to a mini-card reader. Only the storage differs.

It probably has compatibility issues. Try running the application in Windows XP compatibility mode. To do this , right click on its shortcut > Properties > Compatibility > check Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP.
